Chalet La Flüta - La Val, Dolomites

Summer in La Val in Alta Badia

In summer, La Val enchants its guests with an infinite variety of colours: the dip blue of the sky, the green of the ancient woodland, the pale tones of the Dolomites during the hottest months (the proof of their “nickname” Pale Mountains) and the bursts of thefiery colours of enrosadira at sunset, but the acme is the multi-coloured flowering of the Armentara meadows in June. The landscape is so fascinating that feels like a dream...

The hiking village

The village of La Val was the first one in South Tyrol to be certified in 2015 by the project European Hiking Villages and to obtain the precious title of a hiking village. This proves, better than many words, the natural and cultural value of the surrounding landscapes and the beauty of the panoramic routes that lead through this stunning scenery.

Enchanting paths and mule tracks wind among historic farms and immense alpine meadows, climbing to the plateau of Fanes, the world of ancient sagas and legends… All year round you will find in La Val interesting trails for every taste and difficulty level, able to fascinate both experienced hikers and families with children.
